Elizabeth Bear

Elizabeth Bear is the author of over twenty novels and a hundred short stories. In her fifteen-year career she has been honored to be selected as the winner of multiple genre awards, including the John W. Campbell Award for Beth New Author, two Hugo Awards for fiction, the Theodore Sturgeon Memorial Award, several Locus Awards for fiction, and others. She is a participant in ASU's Hieroglyph futurism think tank and has been involved with DARPA's Hundred-Year Starship project. She has spoken at Google in NYC, written stories for futurism projects sponsored by Microsoft and MIT, taught at several respected writing workshops including Clarion, Clarion West, and Viable Paradise, and been a guest lecturing at MIT. 

She has served on award juries for the Tiptree, Dick, and Sturgeon awards.
