Lawrence C. Connolly
Lawrence C. Connolly is the author of the contemporary fantasy series The Veins Cycle and numerous stories that have appeared in Amazing Stories, Cemetery Dance, The Magazine of Fantasy & Science Fiction, Twilight Zone, Year’s Best Horror, and others. His story collection Voices was nominated for the Bram Stoker Award, Superior Achievement in a Fiction Collection. A film adaptation of his story "This Way to Egress," which he co-wrote with David Slade (Hard Candy, 30 Days of Night, Hannibal), is scheduled for production in 2016 as part of the anthology film Nightmare Cinema.

Connolly teaches writing at Sewickley Academy and serves twice a year as a residency writer at Seton Hill University’s graduate program in Writing Popular Fiction. He has given presentations and conducted writing workshops at The GenCon Writing Symposium, PennWriters, National Association of Independent Schools, The World Fantasy Convention, and The World Horror Convention. His live readings (which he presents from memory) have been featured at Fantastic Fiction at KGB and on the radio programs Prosody (WYEP-FM), Writers Talk (WCBE-FM), and others.
